Frozen card for a four year old

So my daughter turned four in mid march & she is totally obsessed with Elsa from disney’s Frozen, so this is the card i made for her.

First i started off printing off these digital stamps i purchased back in late 2019 from a Etsy shop made by Isabel Cristina stamps called winterprincess. (i didn’t end up using the two other characters)

I printed them onto Copic express-it cardstock paper on my brother inkjet printer, & cut them out with my brother scan n cut (my fussy cutting isn’t so great) with a 0.4 cm boarder around the images.

Then i colored the images in with my Copic alcohol markers, (i will list the colors used at the end) then i had a look in my basket of pre-made backgrounds for a cloud background & found one….nice! So i popped that though my bigshot die cutting machine using my favorite things A2 rectangle stax set using the second largest die, the measurements for that one is 5 & 1/4 X 4″ & a it has a nice stitched boarder all around too!

this is the cloud background i had made a while back now putting it to use.

after putting though die cutting machine & used the stitched rectangle dies from mft.

used the 2nd largest die for this cut out.

Next i thought i’d start making the castle again this die is from MFT (my favorite things) & i used stampin’ up’s cardstock in granny apple green, pink flamingo & the flags are made from real red glitter cardstock paper, also from stampin’ up. Then i just used liquid glue to put the pieces all together, i also cut out the bottom wall piece with the same die as the cloud background also. And adhered them to the cloud background.

castle all adhered together.

cloud background adhered to card base.

Then i grabbed a piece of the granny apple green cardstock to make a grassy hill (i did this free-hand) to go in front of the castle, (it gives some grounding to the characters too!)

Then i put some foam tape on the back of Elsa, Olaf & Anna for some added dimension for them & adhered them & the grassy hill to the castle. After that i grabbed my Nuvo Aqua shimmer brush pen to add some glitter areas on the girls’ dresses & capes.

finished card

Then i adhered this card front to the card base & this card is complete, any questions regarding the putting together of this card, please feel free to contact me, i’m only too happy to help, Happy crafting.
